Markus Staley

Let me take a moment to congratulate you on your recent engagement, and to thank you for dropping in and checking out my work.
Preparing for a wedding can be a wonderfully exciting time in your life, and it can also be a bit overwhelming. That’s where I can help. My name is Markus Staley and I come to you with well over 300 weddings worth of experience. My goal is to bring a sense of calm and help you remain relaxed. All the while ensuring you have a wonderfully fun & unique wedding day. Great days don’t just happen, they are created. I come to each wedding with an open, loving heart and a curiously artistic mind. I will capture the love, the laughs and the tears of joy, with both digital and old film cameras. Why? you may ask, because your wedding day deserves the very best images and sometimes that means being a little bit more creative and going that extra mile.
A little about my beginning~
My father was a good amateur photographer. I started at age 9, and took up the art of photography more seriously in high school, shooting for the year book and joining the camera club. Today, after college and many, many workshops and apprenticing under some of the best photographers in Toronto I feel like the camera is simply an extension of me.

I consider it not only an honour but a blessing to be a wedding photographer. I get to laugh, cry and celebrate with my couples on the most important day of their lives, while capturing their wedding story with an open heart, and an artistic eye. I know it sounds kinda like an old song title, but I am addicted to the story of love.

The goal is not to change your subjects, but for the subject to change the photographer.Anonymous
